Yule be relieved to see we managed to get the game played! It was tree-mendous fun!
We welcomed Grace Evans back who is on loan to Newmarket and it was great to see her “prance” around up top and score.
On the Santas team Geoff was pine-ing for passing options and kept finding Amber and Lottie.
In the Elves back line whenever the Santas got forward Lexi was on hand to Sleigh the attack.
Henry gave the Santas a fighting chance in midfield, holding on to the ball for Deer life.
Kate could have felt Claus-trophibic under pressure in midfield but showed lots of composure for the Elves.
Thomas and Jonny showed great chemis-tree for the Santas and helped score the opening goal of the game.
But it was Barnaby who channeled his inner Dasher as he raced around up front for the elves and bagged a few goals as well as setting up some.
Toward the end there was snow way past for Santas as Webby got on the naughty list, saving two penalty strokes in a row from Geoff.
At the end a few grabbed some elf-ies together before we all agreed it was the most wonderful time for a beer and headed to the pub!
