Congratulations to Karl Longworth on receiving a long service award at our AGM on Monday evening. Karl, along with Lee Vose (who unfortunately couldn’t make it) have taken a Chadderton FC Juniors team through from U7 to U16.
Every junior club relies on parental volunteers to give up their time to manage teams. Our children would miss out on the enjoyment of playing team sports if there was nobody to stand up and take on the role.
So it’s nice to recognise the coaches and managers who do go that extra mile.
If you or anyone you know are interested in taking on a coaching role, please get in touch. We have a growing club, particularly in the girls section. So we are keen to take on volunteers to help us grow and offer an oppprtunity to play organised football to children of all ages in our community.
After a DBS check has been completed, support will be given to new coaches and financial assistance towards taking FA qualifications.
It’s also very rewarding to see children develop their skills as they progress through the age groups.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
