Tigers top team hosted Norwich City on Sunday. City were hungry for some additional points following a close fought win over Manchester Warriors last week which took them one step closer to avoiding relegation.
On the other hand, Tigers were keen to prove their development throughout the season since the two sides last met, which was a competitive game with Tigers edging out a four goal lead.
Sundays match got off to a great start for the home side, with Tigers scoring in their first two attacks. This was then followed by a number of goals from both sides taking the score to 6-3. Tigers then stepped up a gear: some solid defence and a great exhibition of shooting saw the home side shut City out for the rest of the half, going on a 10 goal streak and ending the half 16-3.
The second half continued much as the first, with Tigers keeping their foot on the throttle throughout. All substitutions were used, bringing a new dynamic to the game whilst maintaining complete dominance on both sides of the court. A further 20 goals from Tigers took the final score to 36-10. A great team performance all round, showcasing Tigers' goal scoring abilities. Top scorers this week were Captain Hall and Ireland international Browne with 8 goals each.
Here's to now looking forward to Kingfisher on 16 April. Come on the Tigers! 🐯🧡🖤
