Tigers 2 headed to Kent for their first match of 2023 for a top-of-the-table clash!
Following a sterling effort from the first team again perennial Top 4 finishers Tornadoes 1, Tigers 2 played Tornadoes' second team. A close first-half ended 10-9 to the home team with a good flurry of goals and decent defence against a young and well-drilled side. Things slipped away from Tigers in the third quarter - whilst chances were made, a combination of the ball not dropping for us and some lack of penetration in attack meant the end score of 25-15 was somewhat flattering to the victors. However they were the best team on the day and Tigers have a couple of weeks' training to get back up to speed before they play Bearsted 2 at the Perse on the 22nd Jan.
