Before a well-deserved Easter break, Tigers 2 travelled to Ely to face off against Vikings. Whether it was the presence of head coach Liv by the sideline, T3 hotshot Gary’s first appearance in the SERL league or something else, the team took a flying start and developed a confident lead right from the get-go. By half-time it was 3 – 16 to Tigers.
Inevitable or not, the second half brought a much more even game, with tough contest for the ball in rebound and Vikings making our job more difficult all around.
Still, Tigers 3 brought home the 2 points with the goals well spread across the team. Well done to Gary for his contribution of 4 goals! As a result, we are in competition for a top 4 spot at the end of the season, even as the last two matches against Kingfisher 2 and Tornadoes 2 are going to be anything but easy.
