Following a fantastic T1 victory, it was T2's turn against an experienced Kingfisher 2 side they had beaten by 1 goal in the away fixture in December.
With a few team changes, this was a slightly new-look T2. T3 sensation Gary played his first SERL home game and it would have been difficult to find a better initiation. The game stayed extremely close until near the end with Kingfisher pulling away with a couple of goals only to find themselves head-to-head with Tigers again. This happened no less than seven times during the match, right until 13-13, after which Kingfisher proved to be the better team and left the field the winner in what was a fairly scrappy and disjointed performance from both sides.
