T5 had a reasonably comfortable win against City’s young but plucky development team.
Gary and Cindy were especially able to take advantage of their less experienced opponents. Mateja caught an awkward ball on the end of her little finger early on in the match, but taped it up and carried on. Joe and Gary’s athleticism kept us in possession. We were able to limit their attacking with consistent front defence by all the girls, and Tom did a fantastic job limiting City’s young star to penalties only.
