T5 headed over to Uni mid-training for their first round against Uni 1. Visiting-Viking Dom was in situ as their coach.
Uni pulled away by a few goals at the start, but Tigers drew back, helped by some lovely shooting from Luka and expertly taken free passes by Nick. The teams were pretty evenly matched, with Tigers 6-7 down at half time.
Dom‘s guidance proved decisive in the 2nd half, by sorting out Uni’s overcommitting and working on our weaknesses to allow some sneaky runners by their boys. Tigers kept them on their toes right until the end - final score 10-12.
