Last Sunday, Tigers 2 kicked off our 2023/2024 season against Ely Vikings with Ellen Bailey and Milou van Driel in our ranks. Congratulations to both for an excellent first Tigers game! We started to generate goals at a quick pace as the game started and built up a margin which seemed comfortable at first, but a slump in the second quarter brought Vikings closer. Still, we finished the first half with 14-9 on the scoreboard.
Head coach Liv made use of all substitutions throughout the match, and we did keep up the energy. Unlike most matches, we scored more goals in the second half than the first with goals well spread across the team.
T3 and T5 will make their first appearance later this week. Watch out for those games as well!
