Back to back action today for the U11s and U14s.
Despite missing most of the boys, the U11s put in some fantastic performances at the CKA Tournament. The games were all really close again, and the younger team did a lot better than last time, which shows how much they are all improving.
Our previous matches against MK in the U14 NL had been really close, but they had several novice players compared to our much more experienced 3/4 Tiger team. We were really solid in defence, rebounded well, had totally nailed getting the ball out into attack, and our attacks got more and more fluid and creative as the game went on. Mistakes by their defence were duly punished. Goals a plenty - a wonderful mix of long shots, sneaky under the baskets, runners from a feed and rebounded drop offs. Final score 11-1. To see how much all the players have developed this season was a joy to watch.
