After leading the club for the last 4 years, including dealing with the COVID pandemic and its impact on the summer of 2020, Ross Dallimore announced at the AGM that he would stand down as Chair.
Ross has held a number of roles over the years, including 2nd XI Captain, Hon. Secretary, and latterly as Chair and he will remain on the Committee as Fixture Secretary, taking on this role from Phil Thorn.
He will be replaced by Dave Yates who has been a regular player for the club over the last 10 years as well as having seen both his sons rise through the ranks, with Finlay having been the 1st XI vice-Captain over the last two years.
Dave's passion for the club and his desire and motivation to do the right thing for the whole club was evident in his presentation at the Special General Meeting at which he was unanimously voted into his new role.
He has already proposed a number of changes to the structure of the committee which will be presented at a further SGM on 9th February in order to ensure that he has the right people in place doing the right roles in order to ensure the future success of the whole club.
