St Ives fielded another change with reinforcements coming from the 5s team, who were without a game.
Despite some good play in the first half it was Long Sutton who scored first. A short corner subsequently resulted in a penalty flick being awarded which Long Sutton scored from. St Ives rallied and were able to pull one back from Josh Bigwood before the half time break.
The second half saw further pressure from St Ives which led to a slow motion scramble with Martin Pooley scoring. Further pressure from St Ives later on saw a calm strike from Martin Pooley to get his second. Long Sutton did have chances but good defending and some fine saves from Alex Beardall kept Long Sutton at bay.
