St Ives played league leaders, St Neots, in what they expected to be a tough game.
Both sides started well with each team creating opportunities. A fine save from Alex Beardall kept St Ives in the game and despite each team creating chances neither could find the back of the goal.
As the second half progressed, the game became stretched out with tired legs. It was the youngsters from both teams that kept running. St Ives had more of the attacks in the second half but were unable to find the final touch in the D.
A very well deserved point for St Ives with everyone playing their part, a great team performance.
