Cambridge Talent Academy believe all young players have the right to be safe and protected from harm. As a Talent Academy we recognise our important responsibility to ensure that the player is at the heart of the environment and that they can enjoy their experience, feel a sense of belonging and are free to express themselves as a young person.

If a player/parent does have a concern it should be reported to the Cambridge Talent Academy Welfare Officer.

Cambridge Talent Academy has adopted the England Hockey guidance on safeguarding and protecting young people in hockey and has a number of club policies.
