Supporting Our Work

We would like to establish a network of friends to promote and support the county representative teams, as well as our community programmes.

Friends of Dorset Cricket is a way in which you can support the performance of elite cricketers or help our Community Team grow the game within the county. Your membership fee will be given directly to the operational areas you choose when you join.

As a Friend of Dorset Cricket you will receive:

• A membership card
• Free entry to the Men's 1st XI Showcase game against Hampshire
• A quarterly newsletter with information about developments in our representative cricket and community work
• Access to food and drink at an annual Friends Day at a representative match, with the opportunity to meet with players and staff
• 10% off tickets to the annual Cricket Dorset Gala Dinner in November.

Becoming a member of the Friends of Dorset Cricket scheme is really simple and will cost just £30 per annum.

You will enter your personal details using our secure form that can be found at the link below. When you complete the form you will be able to select how your membership fee to be used and can select as many of our operations as you like from the following list:

• County Men - competing in the National Counties Cricket Association (formerly Dorset County Cricket Club)
• County Women - competing in national and regional ECB competitions
• County Seniors - competing in national and regional ECB competitions (formerly Dorset 50+ Cricket Club)
• County Disability - competing in national and regional ECB competitions (formerly Dorset Disability Cricket Club)
• County Visually impaired - competing in national and regional ECB competitions (formerly Dorset Dolphins VI Cricket Club)
• Talent Pathway - with age groups competing in national and regional ECB competitions
• Community Work - supporting the growth and offering cricket to as many people as possible in the county

Payment is simple and can be made directly to our bank account. To make things easier for you, you may wish to set up a standing order to pay your annual membership fee automatically. All we need you to do is make sure the reference you input looks like "FODC your name", for example "FODC John Smith". We can accept cheque payments but paying by cheque will incur a £2 administration charge (for clarification cheques will need to be made out to Cricket Dorset Ltd for £32).
