Today we welcomed Barnes, Chiswick and Richmond to St Augustine’s for our first u10 boys festival of the season. Ealing fielded 2 x teams, the ‘Bears’ and the ‘Tigers’. First up were the Bears who won 1-0 vs Richmond with the winning goal by Freddie from Daniel’s cross. The Tigers followed this with 3-0 win vs Barnes with Elliott grabbing a brilliant hat trick. Bears then drew 0-0 vs Barnes and Tigers won 0-1 against Chiswick with Elliott again scoring the winner. Next up was Ealing vs Ealing who played out a goalless draw. The final matches saw narrow defeats for both teams- the Bears losing 1-2 to Chiswick (with Daniel scoring the consolation goal) and the Tigers losing 0-1 to Richmond. When all the points were tallied up at the end, Ealing Tigers, Richmond and Chiswick all finished with 7pts with Ealing Tigers coming out on top on goal difference… Ealing Bears finished 4th. Big thanks to our young leaders, Zeya, Gianluca, Samuel, Lucas and Toby for umpiring and helping run the festival…
