Today the ladies 2s played Eastcote and although an admirable fight, our compasses were wayward as the game ended in a 0-0 draw. Ealing were Southern Belles with Northern grit travelling cross country in the stormy wind and rain for a 10:15am start. Who knew the world even began at that time on a Saturday?!
A huge directional shout out to Gracie who joined to play after a while out - thank you, Gracie!
In the first half we were a bit east and west with excellent runs up the wings and after a stellar half-time chat, we were really direct in the second half. We secured two short corners but sadly only explored the baseline and not the goal. In the end, the last game before Christmas, hockey is the winner.
