What a beautiful morning for cricket. Some of the players still buzzing from Saturday’s win.
Captain H Booker won the toss and elected to bowl. ECC made a good allrounder performance chasing down the ball and great backing up throughout the game. Bowling was very consistent from all players with all the team having a bowl! Wicket a piece for H Booker & A Booker. Innings finished with ECC needing to chase down 89!
A Booker and L Galvin opened the batting, speedy start with some strong bowling from Aldwick. L Galvin having an unfortunate ball staying for his early departure. R Whiteside coming in and forming a steady partnership to see the score starting to chase aldwick’s score. A few unfortunate drop catches saved both batters at times.
A Booker retired at 25 runs with O Birch coming in to add runs to the board quickly and seeing ECC over the line in 19 overs.
Fantastic performance by everyone and wonderful to see so many supporters out in the ECC camp.
