General Information

Morpeth Hockey Club, based in Northumberland, was formed in the summer of 1922 and joined the Cricket and Tennis Section in 1947 to form Morpeth Cricket Hockey and Tennis Club.

Originally, located in Stobhill, Morpeth, the club moved to its current location, within the grounds of Longhirst Hall in 1996.

Morpeth is the only Hockey Club within the Newcastle/Northumberland area with its own Astro-Turf pitch, this combined with the fact that it has its own clubhouse including bar, makes it a unique experience for a Hockey Player.

Morpeth Hockey Club has Three Men's Teams, Three Ladies Teams and a thriving Junior section, with an age range of 8 to 70 years old.

The club's Astro-Turf pitch is available to rent and with Cricket and Tennis on the same site, gives members plenty of options to play sport.
