In March 2023 Runcorn Netball Club (Then Sandymoor Swans) were approached by one our members Anna Bolton to take part 'Look Good Feel Better's Charity Netball Tournament' in Warwick.
Anna's friend Danielle had use this amazing charity when she was under going Cancer treatment so we jumped and the chance to take part.
We started the fundraising immediately with a raffle using prizes from local companies. Netball Scratch cards and asking far and wide for Donations.
We were over the moon to be the club that raised the most money for this worthy charity.
On the day we had so much fun, with Ama Agbeze Ex England Roses Captain and Millie Sanders Future Rose running a warm up and then being on court all day to help coach teams and even jumping on court to play later on in the day.
It was an amazing tournament and one we can not wait to be part of again in 2024!
In December 2023, England Roses Netball took part in a Test Series event vs South Africa we were privileged to be included in the programme for the event discussing all things Look Good Feel Better.
