HAF Community Multi-sports Camps

The Surrey Rams Basketball club have teamed up with Active Surrey, Merton Borough Council and Croydon Council to offer the Multi-Sports and Expression of Arts school holiday camps.

Once again our Campers can enjoy a range of multi-sports activities such as basketball, football, dodge-ball, enrichment programmes (including essential a healthy eating cooking day course ran by “COOKING ADVENTURES LTD”, Animal encounters and skateboard/bike riding experience).

In the afternoon, campers will enjoy a nutritious hot lunch followed by engaging sessions focused on fostering creativity through healthy eating interactions.

Please Note: Students eligible for free school meals can attend the camp at no cost and will also receive complimentary hot lunches. If your child qualifies for free school meals (FSM), you will receive an e-voucher via text and email issued by your child’s school. If you haven't received the e-voucher, please contact your child’s school's business manager. The e-voucher will contain a link directing you to the local council holiday activities portal for online booking. You can then use the e-vouchers to book a place for your child.

Aim of the HAF – Surrey Rams Multi-Sports and Expression of Arts School Holiday Camp:

The Surrey Rams aim to extend our services to the Guildford, Croydon, and Merton communities, providing inclusive Easter experiences filled with fun multi-sport activities, enrichment programs, and opportunities for making new friends. We prioritize physical activity in a safe and structured environment, welcoming girls and boys aged 10-16 (school years 5 to 11).

Surrey Rams Multi-Sports and Expression of Arts Activity Content:

Our camps are tailored to offer diverse activities suited for candidates enrolling in our courses:

Merton Camps: Primarily focusing on basketball and football, supplemented with Expression of Arts activities.  

- **Surrey and Croydon Camps**: A multi-sports program featuring various games, primarily basketball, and team-building challenges. Additionally, candidates can engage in football, drama, arts and crafts, magic making, and animal and reptile interactions throughout the day.

Highlights of Our Camp Experience:

Campers will have the opportunity to participate in the "Cooking Adventurers" program, where they'll create and cook healthy meals themselves. This initiative aligns with our commitment to providing holistic healthy eating education and exposes campers to a range of nutritious ingredients.

Parents are encouraged to register their child even if their attendance is uncertain, ensuring they secure a spot. We understand plans may change, and cancellations are accepted, although we appreciate timely notifications to accommodate others on the waiting list.

As part of our catering services, parents can opt for the provided lunch meal plan for their child, enhancing convenience and ensuring they enjoy a balanced diet during camp hours.
