Club Documents is a dedicated section within Teamo where you can store and manage important club-related information in a secure and organised way. This feature allows clubs to upload and share essential documents, such as the code of conduct, club rules, policies, and other important files, ensuring that all relevant members can easily access them when needed.

Club Documents is particularly useful for maintaining transparency and consistency within the club, as well as keeping all necessary information in one place for easy reference.

How to Access Club Documents

The Club Documents section can be accessed from both the desktop and the Teamo mobile app.

  • On Desktop: Navigate to your Home Page, click on the three dots menu, and then select Club Documents.
  • On the App: Go to your Club Page, tap the three dots menu, and choose Club Documents from the list of options.

Once you are in the Club Documents section, you will be able to view all the currently stored files and folders. From here, you can upload new documents, organise them into folders, and manage access permissions.

Uploading Files to Club Documents

If you need to upload a new document to the club’s storage, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Club Documents section.
  2. Click or tap the plus icon located on the screen.
  3. Select Add File from the available options.
  4. Choose the file from your device that you would like to upload.
  5. Make sure the file is in one of the supported formats (PDF, PNG, or JPG). Files that do not meet these format requirements cannot be uploaded.
  6. Confirm your selection, and the file will be added to the club’s documents.



How to Create Folders

To keep your club documents neatly organised, you can create folders within the Club Documents section. This is especially helpful if you have multiple types of documents and want to categorise them properly.

To create a new folder:

  1. Open the Club Documents section.
  2. Click or tap the plus icon.
  3. Select Add Folder.
  4. Enter a name for your new folder and confirm the creation.

Managing Files and Folders

The Club Documents section allows you to manage your files and folders in several ways:

  • Deleting a file or folder – If you no longer need a file or folder, you can remove it by clicking the three dots menu next to the item and selecting Delete.
  • Moving a file – You can reorganise your documents by selecting the three dots menu and choosing Move, allowing you to place the file into a different folder.
  • Sharing a file – If you need to distribute a document to specific club members, you can select Share from the three dots menu and follow the instructions.
  • Editing access permissions – You have control over who can view or edit certain files and folders within the Club Documents section.

Restricting Access to Files & Folders

In some cases, you may want to make certain documents available only to specific teams or groups within the club. Teamo allows you to set access permissions for individual files and folders.

To restrict access to a document or folder:

  1. Open the Club Documents section.
  2. Click on the three dots menu (⋮) next to the file or folder.
  3. Select Edit Access from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose which teams or groups within your club should have permission to access the file or folder.

What file formats are supported?

Teamo supports PDF, PNG, and JPEG file formats for uploads. Other file types cannot be added.

Can I move files between folders?

Yes! Use the "Move" option in the three dots menu to relocate files to different folders.

What happens if I delete a file?

Deleted files cannot be retrieved. Make sure to back up any important documents before deletion.

Can I restrict access to specific files or folders?

Yes! To restrict access:

  1. Open the Club Documents section.
  2. Click the three dots menu next to the file or folder.
  3. Select "Edit Access."
  4. Choose which teams or groups can view the document.

How do I manage files and folders?

  • Delete: Click the three dots menu, next to a file or folder and select "Delete."
  • Move: Click the three dots menu, choose "Move," and select a new folder.
  • Share: Click the three dots menu, select "Share," and follow the instructions.
