Teamo makes it easy to collect match fees and ensures you never miss a payment again. Players who claim "I haven't got any cash" won't slip through the cracks with Teamo’s streamlined process. Follow these steps to add, assign, and track match fees effectively.

Step 1: Add a Match Fee to an Event

To start collecting match fees, you'll need to add the fee to the event. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Event.
  2. Click on the three dots (options menu).
  3. Select Edit Event.
  4. Add the Match Fee.


Step 2: Assign the Match Fees

Once the match fee is added, you need to assign the fees to players:

  1. Select the Teamsheet.
  2. Set the Teamsheet Live.
  3. Click on Match Fees.
  4. Edit any Concessions if applicable.
  5. Assign the Fee.

Note: You can only assign match fees after the event has passed.


Step 3: Track Match Fee Status

You can check the status of a match fee in several places:

  • Within the Event: Go to the event and check the payment status.
  • Team Payments Section: Go to Team Payments > Match Fees > Select the Team.
  • Payment Centre: Navigate to Payment Centre > Match Fees and find the event.

Match Fee Payment Prompts

Teamo allows you to send quick payment reminders to players who haven't paid their match fees yet. The Team Payments section includes a pre-written prompt reminder that you can easily customise and send with just a few taps. Once sent, the player will receive a notification on their phone, ensuring they can’t escape paying!

How to Send a Payment Prompt

  1. Go to Team Payments > Match Fees.
  2. Select the relevant Team.
  3. Choose the Match.
  4. Tap on the Invoice.
  5. Select Prompt for Payment.
  6. The player will then receive a notification reminding them to pay the match fee.

How Do I Assign a Match Fee?

Once the event has passed, and you’ve confirmed the players for your team, you can assign match fees:

  1. Select the Teamsheet.
  2. Set the Teamsheet Live.
  3. Click on Match Fees.
  4. Edit Concessions if needed.
  5. Assign the Fee.

How Can I View Who Has Paid for Their Match Fees?

To view the payment status:

  1. Click on your Profile Icon.
  2. Go to Team Payments.
  3. Select the Team and Match.
  4. You will see a list of who has paid and any outstanding payments.
  5. You can also check this information within the event or in the Payment Centre.

How Can I Edit a Match Fee?

If you need to make changes to a player's match fee. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on your Profile Icon.
  2. Go to Team Payments.
  3. Select the Team and Match.
  4. Tap on the Invoice you wish to edit.
  5. Choose Edit Invoice to make the necessary changes.


How Can I Mark a Match Fee as Paid in Cash?

If a player has paid their match fee in cash, you can mark the payment as received by:

  1. Click on your Profile Icon.
  2. Go to Team Payments and select the relevant Team and Match.
  3. Tap the player's name and choose Paid Cash.

This will mark the match fee as paid in cash for that player.
