Headers and Footers

The header and footer of your website are essential navigation tools, appearing on every page of your site. They allow users to easily find important internal and external links. Properly organising these sections ensures your visitors can quickly access key areas of your club's website.

What Can You Add to Your Header and Footer?

Header

The header often includes:

  • Links to key internal pages (e.g., Club Shop, Club Documents).
  • Links to external pages (e.g., National Governing Body website).
  • Website title (we recommend keeping this as your club’s name).
  • Log In and Join Now buttons.

Pro Tip: Add links that are important for quick access, such as registration forms, news pages, or event calendars.

Footer

The footer provides two columns for organising additional links:

  • Column One: Add site navigation links (e.g., About Us, News, Contact Us).
  • Column Two: Include miscellaneous links (e.g., Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy).
  • Log In and Join Now buttons can also appear in the footer.

How to Manage Headers & Footers

All settings for the header and footer can be accessed:

  1. In the Side Menu within the Page Manager.
  2. Under the Headers & Footers section in the main Website Control Centre.

Can I Link the "Join Now" Button to Our Teamo Registration Form?

Yes! Follow these steps:

  1. Find your club’s registration link in Teamo.
  2. Go to the header and footer settings.
  3. In the dropdown menu under Join Now, select External Link and paste the registration link.

Where Does the "Log In" Button Take Users?

The Log In button directs users to their normal Teamo desktop login page, allowing them to access their Teamo account.

Note: There is no separate members' area on the website, as the Teamo platform itself functions as the members' area.

I’ve Created a "How to Join the Club" Page. Can I Link This to the "Join Now" Button?

Absolutely! Here’s how:

  1. Go to the header and footer settings.
  2. Under Join Now, choose the page you’ve created from the dropdown menu.
