Run your whole club from a professional email address on your own domain — anything@yourclub.co.uk — without leaving Teamo. This page covers everything you need to set it up, migrate from your old provider, and get help if something looks wrong.
Teamo Mailbox comes in two flavours:
Both work on your own domain. Both add SPF, DKIM and DMARC automatically so your messages actually arrive.
Setup usually completes within 5–10 minutes. You’ll see a green “Active” badge on the dashboard when you’re ready to add addresses.
Prerequisite: your club’s website domain must be on Teamo’s nameservers. If you’re still on Pitchero or another host, talk to support first — moving the website across takes about a day and the email side comes free with it.
Forwarded emails arrive in your normal inbox within seconds. If you reply from there, the reply goes from your personal address by default — toggle Reply from club address on the rule if you’d rather hide that.
The mailbox is live immediately. Sign in at mail.teamo.chat with the full address and the password.
The status page shows per-mailbox progress and updates every 10 seconds. You can leave it and come back later.
About credentials: the password you enter is encrypted in transit, used only by the migration worker, and deleted automatically as soon as the migration completes. It is never stored in the Teamo database.

How much does it cost?
Email Hosting is bundled into Teamo’s standard tiers — there’s no separate per-mailbox bill.
If your club is on a lower tier, the app will prompt you to upgrade with a single confirm. Your tier is recalculated daily, and there’s a 14-day grace period before any new rate is charged — so you’ve got time to try it and back out if it’s not right.
What if I want forwarding but not mailboxes?
That’s fine — you only need the Silver tier, and forwarding is included free. You can skip mailboxes entirely.
What happens if I drop from Gold back down to Silver?
Your mailboxes are paused, not deleted, for 30 days — so you can come back without losing email. After 30 days they’re permanently removed. Forwarding rules keep working as long as you’re on Silver or above.
Can I try it before committing to an upgrade?
Yes — when you click into Email Hosting, the upgrade modal explains exactly what changes and when. You confirm, your tier moves up at the next daily recalculation, and you’ve got 14 days before any new charge applies. Cancel inside that window and there’s no bill.
Will my existing email still work during the switch?
Yes. The migration runs before you change your DNS, so old email keeps flowing to your old provider until you cut over. After cut-over, we run a final delta sync to grab anything that arrived in the gap.
What happens to my old emails?
We copy every message into your new Teamo mailbox, keeping folders, dates and read/unread status. Your old provider’s copy isn’t touched — you can delete that whenever you’re ready.
What’s my storage limit?
50 GB per mailbox. That’s roughly 500,000 typical messages — most clubs never come close.

Can the whole committee share one inbox?
Shared inboxes are coming soon (see the Mailbox launch post). For now, the simplest option is a forwarding rule that lands info@yourclub.co.uk in two or three personal inboxes at once.
Can I send bulk newsletters from my Teamo mailbox?
For one-off updates to a few hundred people, yes. For regular newsletters to thousands, use Teamo’s built-in Notifications instead — that’s what it’s designed for, and it won’t risk your domain reputation.
What if I cancel — do I lose my data?
No. Your mailboxes export to standard .mbox files on request, which any modern mail app can re-import. Your data is yours.
I don’t have a domain yet. Can Teamo help?
Yes. Talk to support — we can register yourclub.co.uk on your behalf, point it at Teamo, and have email running the same week.
Is my email private — can Teamo staff read it?
No. Mailbox contents are stored encrypted and Teamo staff can’t read them. Support can see that a message arrived (sender, recipient, timestamp, size) for diagnostics, but not the contents.
