England Hockey Import Fixtures

Bulk Import Fixtures from the England Hockey Website:

Please follow the step by step guide on how to bulk import your team/club fixtures on Teamo using the England Hockey Website!

Step 1: Make sure fixtures are live on the England Hockey website

Before you start, check that your fixtures have already been published on England Hockey’s GMS website. Teamo pulls the information directly from there, so your GMS fixtures need to be finalised first.

Step 2: Find the correct England Hockey link

You can upload fixtures at two levels:

Team link

Each team has its own unique page on GMS. You’ll need to copy this link to connect Teamo to the right set of fixtures.
The link should look like this:
https://www.englandhockey.co.uk/teams/[club-name]/[team-name]
Make sure you’re copying the team page link and not the club overview page.

Club link

If you want to upload fixtures for the whole club in one go, use the club link instead:
https://www.englandhockey.co.uk/clubs/[club-name]
Teamo will then ask you to select which team’s fixtures you want to import. Once confirmed, you’ll progress into the normal Teamo upload fixtures process.

Step 3: Import fixtures into Teamo

> Log into Teamo as a Club Admin.

> Click on Manage Club in the menu.

> Select Import Fixture.

> Choose England Hockey GMS as the source.

> Paste either the team link or club link you copied from the EH site.

> Confirm your choice and Teamo will begin pulling in your fixtures.

> You will then need to edit the info that has been imported to match the column headers. To be able to save and upload these events to the calendar, all sections must be underlined in GREEN.

> Click on the question marks next to the red sections, and select the appropriate option e.g. correct team, competition, location etc.

> Make sure to select the correct title header for each column. Click the column header to change this. E.g. Home/away, Venue etc.

Step 4: Previewing and Saving the Events

> Once all of the sections are in green, you can preview the events by clicking on the save icon at the end of the rows. Click Preview, and the event will display on the right hand side

> Once happy with all of the events, click the save icon at the end of the first row, and click 'Save all to bottom'

> This will generate all of the events from this link, and upload them to the calendar

> These events will then be visible on the calendar

Step 5: Keeping fixtures updated (resyncing)

One of the best features of this integration is that you don’t need to re-upload fixtures every time something changes in GMS.

If, for example, a match time or venue is updated in GMS, you can update the event in Teamo with just a couple of clicks.

To do this:

Go into the event in Teamo
Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Click Resync event

This will refresh the fixture with the latest details from GMS, without overwriting all your other uploaded fixtures.

A Few Top Tips:

You’ll need to repeat the process for each team if uploading individually.
If importing at club level, check carefully that you’ve selected the correct teams before confirming.
Encourage team captains and managers to double-check fixtures once they’re uploaded.

Which roles have access to the Import Fixtures via England Hockey feature?

Only Club Admins have the ability to bulk import fixtures for all teams using the import fixtures feature.

How can I check if my teams fixtures are live on the England Hockey Website?

To make sure your teams fixtures are uploaded on to the England Hockey website and to find the correct link, simply type into google, [club name and team name] England Hockey fixtures, and follow the offical England Hockey website link.

The URL for the page should be in this format - https://www.englandhockey.co.uk/teams/[club-name]/[team-name]

Why is it not allowing me to save the fixtures?

To be able to save and upload the events to the calendar, please ensure that all sections are underlined in green. Make sure that all information in the columns are correct!

Will resyncing overwrite my team’s notes, attendance, or other details?

No, resyncing only updates the fixture data (time, venue, opponent, etc.) from GMS. Any notes, availability responses, or comments in Teamo will remain unchanged.
