Managing Family Links

Admins can manage guardian and dependent connections to ensure families have the right access within the app. This functionality ensures accurate member visibility when creating team sheets, managing payments, and tracking attendance.

Editing Connections

How to Edit Dependent/Guardian Connections

This feature is accessible only on the Web/Desktop version of the app:

Navigate to Manage Club > Member’s Center.
Select the dependent or guardian.
Click the family icon under the member’s details in the right-hand menu.

Adding Connections

Steps to Add a Dependent or Guardian

Navigate to Manage Club > Member’s Center.
Select the dependent or guardian.
Click the family icon under the member’s details in the right-hand menu.

To add a dependent to a guardian:

Click Connect Dependent.
Type in the dependent’s name.
Add the relationship.
Click Save.

To add a guardian to a dependent:

Click Connect Guardian.
Type in the guardian’s name.
Add the relationship.
Click Save.

Editing or Removing Connections

How to Edit/Remove a Connection

Click the dotted line extending from the member’s name in the family icon view.
Choose either Remove Link or Edit Relationship Type.

Can parents/guardians manage connections themselves?

No, only admins can edit family connections via the Member’s Center as described above.

Why can guardians only view junior info/events?

If a guardian does not have the Legal Guardian status enabled, they can only view events and basic info for their dependent. To enable full access:

Navigate to Manage Club > Member’s Center.
Search for the guardian and select their name.
Click the family icon in the right-hand sidebar.
Click the link to edit the relationship.
Tick Is Legal Guardian.
Click Save.
