Manage family connections to ensure your member's families have all the access they need

Admins can connect guardians and dependents to ensure that the users have the right access to the right places in the app. It also helps admins make sure that the right members appear when creating team sheets, managing payments and managing attendance.

"Does this allow me to correct errors in connections when members are created?"

As errors are occasionally made in setting up of dependent/guardian accounts this feature allows you as an admin to correct them. This can prevent further administrative issues down the line when it comes to availability, selection and payments.

"Can this help me as junior players get older and move into other areas of the club?"

Yes, this feature allows you to remove players' guardians/parents which makes their account completely self-sufficient. For example if a player starts as an U16 and stays at the club until they are over 18, this feature will help you to evolve with the player and their journey through your club.

How do I edit a dependent/guardian's connections?

This feature can only be accessed on the Web/Desktop version of the app. Go to Manage Club > Member's Center. Select the dependent/guardian and then go to the family icon under the member's details in the right hand menu.

How can I add a connection?

This feature can only be accessed on the Web/Desktop version of the app. Go to Manage Club > Member's Center. Select the dependent/guardian and then go to the family icon under the member's details in the right hand menu.

To add a dependent to a guardian: Connect dependent > Type in name > Add relationship > save

To add a guardian to a dependent: Connect guardian > Type in name > Add relationship > save

How can I remove/edit a connection?

To edit or remove a link, click on the dotted line coming off the members name. This will give you the option to either remove the link or edit the relationship type.

Can parents/guardians do this themselves?

This can only be edited by admins in the Member's Center as described above.

Why can I only view my juniors info/events?

If a guardian does not have the legal guardian tick turned on, they can only view events and the info of their dependent.

To amend this an admin must turn this tick on so the guardian can mark availability and make payments!

To action, this: Go to Manage Club > Members Center > search guardian and select > click on the family icon in their right-hand sidebar > click on the link > click Edit relationship Type > tick 'Is legal Guardian' > Save
