Signatures on registration forms, classes set up in one go, and a quicker start to the new season. Here’s what we shipped in July.
July’s work centred on three jobs that land on club admins: getting members signed up, getting classes set up, and moving memberships onto a new season. Registration forms gained signatures, follow-up questions and ready-made packs. A class can now be built without leaving the form. And a new-season button turns re-pointing rolling memberships into a review rather than a data-entry job. Rugby clubs also get England Rugby fixtures, results and league tables.
Here are the highlights.
📝 Registration forms: signatures, follow-ups and ready-made packs
- Signature Declaration. A new answer type: members read the statement and sign to confirm it, either by drawing with a finger, mouse or stylus, or by typing their name in one of five cursive styles. The pad shows who they’re signing as, and once saved the signature becomes a tidy read-only tile with a Change button. Signatures are stored against the answer, ready for later review or PDF export.
- It counts as a signed declaration. A Signature Declaration is treated as a declaration everywhere declarations are counted, and the bulk toggle now follows whatever filter you’ve applied rather than acting on the whole list.
- Yes/No questions with a follow-up box. A Yes/No question can now open a detail box when the member gives the answer you choose — for example, “Any medical conditions? Yes → tell us more.” You pick which answer opens the box and the prompt above it. Existing Yes/No questions are unchanged; the setting sits next to the answer-type dropdown, so you can turn it on for any question without a rebuild.
- Start from a pack, not a blank page. Choose from five sport-specific packs, plus a PAR-Q health screening pack that suits any club — or import the questions from a form you already have.
- One setting, every question showing. Apply a setting across all the questions currently in view, rather than one at a time.

🗓️ Class booking: set up a class in one go
Setting up a class no longer sends you elsewhere to create the pieces it needs. Venue, coach, age group, season, currency and group can all be created right there in the form — including adding a coach who isn’t in the club yet. A class is paid for by a ticket or a membership, and the same sheet makes either.

💷 New season, memberships and payments
- Move rolling memberships onto the new season. When your club rolls over to a new season, a button moves your rolling memberships onto the new season’s product. The pairings come pre-filled, so it’s a review rather than a data-entry job.
- Move a paid ticket to another session. An event ticket that’s already been paid for can be moved to a different session, without refunding and rebooking.
- Find first and additional children for sibling discounts. The members search box has two new filters, in both the Members Centre and the Payment Centre → Memberships tab. IsFirstChild shows the oldest child of any guardian with two or more children; IsSecondChild shows the younger siblings (the second, third, fourth… child). Filter to IsSecondChild to find every additional child who should get the sibling discount. Both work with ! to exclude (e.g. !IsFirstChild), combine with other filters, and are explained in the search Help. Siblings are matched by shared guardian and ordered oldest-first by date of birth; an only child matches neither filter.
- Membership Expiry in your export. There’s a new Membership Expiry export column.
🏠 A simpler app for admins and members
- The club page, rebuilt for desktop. On desktop, the club page is now built around club news and groups, with a pinned teams drawer.
- “Needs you” for members. The member dashboard gains an actions menu that gathers everything needing the member’s attention in one place.
- One “Add members” window. Adding members now goes through a single Add members window.
- Guardians onto their child’s team. The waiting room now offers to move guardians onto their child’s team.
- See who your chat message reached. When a message can’t get through to someone, the recipient list now tells you why — they don’t have the app yet, or they’re reached via a parent. Swipe left on your own message to open Message Info and see the reach for everyone it went to.
- Age ranges on groups (beta). A group can now carry an optional age range, and the screen tells you where it applies.

🏉 More for your sport
- England Rugby fixtures and results. Rugby clubs can now import fixtures and results from England Rugby (RFU / GMS), with league tables on team pages and club websites.
- Boxing and individual sports. Boxing and individual sports are now part of sign-up, with wording that fits the sport.
📧 Club email
- Set up your domain before you move DNS. A hosted domain can now be staged — mailboxes created and mail migrated — before the DNS switch, so the switch is the last step rather than the first.
- Sign in with Microsoft. Email migration now supports Sign in with Microsoft.
🔧 Plus 12 fixes
Twelve fixes went out in July too, including: guardians now see their children’s bookings, with paid tickets bought for a child on the event page and booked social events in the guardian’s calendar; a pending junior’s answers to guardian questions are visible before you accept them; and unread counts that wouldn’t go away now clear.
