Introducing MRM: Business Tools, Built for Your Club

Sports clubs are small businesses. They manage members, handle money, deal with incidents, and coordinate people — just like any business. But most clubs are still running all of that through WhatsApp groups and someone's memory.

That changes today.

We've added MRM — Member Relationship Management — to Teamo. It's the kind of tool that businesses take for granted, rebuilt specifically for the way clubs actually work.

What is MRM?

MRM is your club's shared task and activity system. Any time something needs to happen — an enquiry about a player, an incident that needs logging, a coach who needs chasing — you raise a Task, assign it to the right person, and track it until it's resolved.

Every Task gets logged automatically. Full history, always there when you need it.

Why it matters

We kept hearing the same thing from clubs. Important moments — safeguarding incidents, complaints, player concerns — were being managed over WhatsApp with no record. That's not just inefficient, it's a real risk. If something escalates and you need to show what happened and when, a chat thread isn't going to cut it.

MRM gives your club accountability without adding overhead.

How it works

Getting started takes about thirty seconds. Head to Tasks in your dashboard and hit New Task — or if a message comes in from a member, raise a task directly from that conversation with one tap. Add a note, pick a category — enquiry, task, or incident — assign it to whoever needs to action it, and you're done. They're notified immediately.

Track it from your dashboard. When it's done, it moves to your activity log.

Three types, three purposes

📋 Tasks — anything that needs doing and needs assigning. Clear owner, clear accountability.

💬 Enquiries — member questions that need following up. Raise one directly from a message so nothing gets lost.

⚠️ Incidents — when something happens on or off the pitch that needs recording. Guardians are notified immediately and automatically.

The paper trail that protects your club

Every action is logged with a timestamp and a name. Who raised it, who it was assigned to, who acknowledged it, and when it was resolved. If you ever need to refer back — whether that's a week later or a year later — it's all there.
