May gave coaches a long-overdue upgrade to season-wide availability, opened up three months of chat history, and gave the app its cleanest update yet. Here’s the round-up.

Season-wide availability, with totals and a CSV export

Coaches told us they wanted to see, in one screen, who’s actually around for the whole season — not just the next fixture. So we rebuilt the long-term availability view.

The page now shows per-player totals at a glance: how many sessions each player has marked themselves available for, how many they’ve declined, and how many they haven’t responded to. If you run a club with overlapping age-group squads, the page also expands to include children of the team you’re looking at, so a senior coach can see their U18 prospects in the same view.

And because every coach we’ve ever talked to has at some point wanted to take this offline — there’s now a one-click CSV download of the whole view.

A fresh coat of paint on the app

If you spend a lot of time inside Teamo Admin, you’ll notice things look a little crisper this month:

  • Products card-stack — subscription packages and one-off products now sit in a tidier card layout that scales properly on mobile.
  • Mobile header overhaul — the top nav has been redrawn for one-thumb use, with the actions you actually need front-and-centre.
  • Sticky chip strip — filter chips at the top of long lists now stay pinned as you scroll, so you don’t lose your filter context when you’re three pages in.


No new menus to learn, no settings to re-find. Same Teamo — just easier to actually use.

Three months of chat, at your fingertips

Until this month, club and team chats only showed you the most recent stretch of messages. If you needed to find what was agreed about kit four weeks ago, you were scrolling forever.

From May, every chat in Teamo — club-wide, team, private — shows the last 90 days of messages on open. Need to go further back? There’s a new “Search back another 90 days” footer at the bottom of the conversation that loads the next chunk on demand. Repeat as needed; we’ll never make you scroll without showing you a way to go further.

Also this month

A handful of smaller wins from May worth a mention:

  • Family-card import is faster. When you bulk-import a family, you now see a preview modal with inline pairing edits — so you can fix the parent/child link before you commit, not after.
  • Captains can mark their own availability. If a captain’s child is in the same team, they can now respond on their own behalf without switching accounts.
  • Voice input on desktop chat. Platinum-tier voucher admins can now dictate messages on the web app, not just on mobile.
  • Snooze the 50% Rule for the off-season. The selection-fairness reminder can be paused over the summer break, so it doesn’t pester managers when no one’s playing.
  • Hockey-specific IDP and S&C Fitness Testing (academy Pilot). Academy clubs (academy Pilot) get a bigger sport-specific toolkit this month.
  • Email-hosting precheck. When you set up a club mailbox, Teamo now verifies your DNS records before you finish — so you can’t end up with a broken inbox that swallows everything members send.
