Your club website made yours, the team picked straight from the fixture, and a clear view of the money coming in. Here’s what we shipped in September.
September brought 44 new features and improvements and 186 fixes. Much of it went into club websites, with new look controls, venue pages, a pilot of league pages and pages you can build by copy and paste. Alongside that come match week, payments and player sponsorships.
Here are the highlights.
🎨 Make your club website yours
The website editor has new controls for your hero, header, section bar and menu, and your site-wide look settings now carry through to the page. The preview renders at a real screen size and tells you which one, and clicking part of the preview takes you to the control behind it.

Make it yours in Site Settings: open each part of your site, from the homepage hero to sponsors and team pages.

🏟️ Venue pages, league pages and copy-and-paste
- Venue pages. A venue page can carry a photo from Club Media and your own content, using the same editor as news. Venue pages publish with the site, and a venues index can show them as cards. Venue and league pages also get share cards and what3words.
- League pages (pilot). A league secretary can turn a fixtures workbook into a league page, or build one without a spreadsheet: standings, fixtures, documents, rulings, previous winners and club kits. Results can go in from a phone at the pitch, and there’s a step-by-step guide under Resources.
- Build a page by copy and paste. The “+” menu has Paste from clipboard, which picks the right block for what you copied. A range copied from Excel becomes a real table rather than a picture, and a copied picture goes straight onto the page with no need to save it as a file first.
- Richer team pages. Team pages can carry the same content blocks as venue and news pages, and on modernised sites the team page has its new layout: a wide main column beside a rail of cards.
🤝 Player sponsorships
A local business can now sponsor a named player, and its logo appears beside that player on your club website and in the app. Switch sponsorships on for a team, then manage them from Player Sponsors in Manage Club.

⚽ Match week: pick the team from the fixture
Manager Tools on a fixture now opens Selection Manager on that fixture’s date with the section already chosen, and its back button returns you to the fixture. Availability prompts have new timings between six weeks and seven days before a fixture.

📅 Fixtures, events and training
- Kit in the fixtures import. Map a spreadsheet column straight to Kit. Kit now saves on bulk import, when duplicating events and when creating fixtures across several dates.
- Sync Month from the club calendar. Clubs linked to GMS or the FA can run Sync Month from a section’s More menu on the club calendar.
- Training sessions with notes and venues. A session can carry its own note, such as “please arrive at 18.45”, and link to your club’s venue page instead of a typed location. A Training event can now be set up for a section, not just a team.
- An attendance helper that’s easy to find. On a training session, Manager Tools now offers Assign Attendance Helper beside Mark Attendance. It sends any member or guardian a chat link to that session’s register, with no role needed.
- Event tools where you expect them. Reset Event Invites is now also on the three-dot menu on an event’s page.
💷 Payment Centre: see what’s coming in
The Payment Centre’s right-hand rail now shows the money expected over the coming months: paid money by the date it was paid, and Direct Debits by the date they’re due. Memberships can be filtered by group, with totals that follow, and a new Involvement column shows each member’s last five weeks of training.

💳 AutoPay, TeamoPay and getting paid
- AutoPay only asks when it could collect something. Members with nothing AutoPay could ever collect are no longer prompted. Where a membership has to be paid by hand first, the ask comes inside checkout, just before the card is added.
- Chase for a payment method, not a payment. Send a member a chase link of their own to set up how they pay, see AutoPay coverage at a glance on memberships, and offer a route straight to Direct Debit setup.
- Pending Direct Debits count. A pending mandate counts as a usable payment method for 10 days and shows as pending in the dashboard. A member with both a card and a Direct Debit is asked which to use.
- Members-only tickets and classes. Mark a ticket product as Members only, and only someone with a membership for this season can book it, including one still being collected by Direct Debit. When you switch it on, you’ll see a note that the restriction isn’t fully secure.
- TeamoPay on your phone. TeamoPay has its own entry in the More menu on mobile.
- Refunds with a reason. The refund window has an optional reason with one-tap presets, and the invoice shows it.

👥 Members Centre and roles
- Remove several members at once. Pick several members and remove them in one go from the new Remove members pane. It checks the whole selection first and leaves out anyone who has to stay, including a guardian whose child is staying. It never removes you.
- Search by role. Search Role: Captain, Role: Coach or any of your club’s own role names for the current season. The Teams column now shows the full role name, not just its first letter.
- Membership numbers. A membership number column, with an inline editor.
- Consent for Comms Officers. Comms Officers can now see photo and publication consent, read-only.
- Tidying up when a member leaves. Deleting a member now offers to cancel the invoices that shouldn’t outlive them.
📱 Around the app
- A welcome for every role. Home has four role-specific welcome decks, linked to availability, selection and calendar sync. Each can be hidden, and a hidden deck stays hidden.
- Search that follows the page you’re on. Search from Chats and chats come first, with more of them shown. From Contacts or Club, contacts lead.
🔧 Plus 186 fixes
We also shipped 186 fixes in September, including: members can now clear a notification; a fixture synced from GMS, Play-Cricket or the FA while its start time was TBC now picks up the start time once the league sets it; and a member whose current-season invoice has been refunded no longer shows as Paid in the Memberships table.
