This guide walks you through promoting ticket products in Teamo so members can find and buy tickets from the Payments page, the Newsfeed, or both. It also covers multi-event bulk purchasing, concession pricing, and dependent purchasing.
Step 1: Navigate to Products
Open your club admin and tap Manage Club in the sidebar, then select Club Products. You will see a list of all your existing products organised by type.
Use the Tickets filter to show only ticket products.
Step 2: Edit Your Ticket Product
Find the ticket product you want to promote and tap on it to open the product editor. You will see sections for Product Details, Payment, Concessions/Options, and Promotion.
Scroll down to the Promotion section at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Open Display Options
Tap Edit next to the Promotion section. This opens the Display Options panel where you control where this product appears for members.
You will see these toggles:
Step 4: Enable Payment Page
Toggle Show on payment page to ON. Members will see this ticket every time they visit their Payments page to check balances or pay fees.
This is ideal for tickets that members should purchase regularly, such as match day tickets or training session passes.
Step 5: Enable Newsfeed
Toggle Promote to newsfeed to ON. The ticket will appear as a product card in the club Newsfeed, catching members’ attention where they already scroll through updates.
Using both toggles together maximises visibility — members see the ticket whether they check their payments or browse the newsfeed.
Step 6: Save
Tap Confirm to save your promotion settings. The Promotion section on the product editor will now show NEWSFEED and PAYMENT PAGE badges confirming where the ticket will appear.
Payments Page
When a ticket is promoted to the Payments page, members see it alongside their memberships, fees, and other charges. The ticket appears in the Also Available section.
Tapping the ticket card takes the member to the event page where they can purchase tickets directly.
Newsfeed
When promoted to the Newsfeed, the ticket appears as a product card between regular posts. Members see it as they scroll through club updates, making it easy to discover and purchase tickets without leaving the feed.
When a ticket is linked to multiple future events, tapping the promoted card opens the Select Events screen. This is where bulk purchasing happens — members can pick individual events or select all at once and pay in a single checkout.
Events display clear availability signals:
If the ticket has concession options, a Ticket type dropdown appears. Members pick their concession (Standard, Junior, Student, Senior, Family) and the price per event updates immediately.
Parents and guardians can buy tickets for family members by tapping Change next to Purchasing for at the top of the screen. Tickets are created under their name and concession pricing applies automatically.
The footer shows a running Total that updates as events are selected. Tap Checkout to pay for everything in a single transaction.
How do I promote a ticket product?
Open your ticket product in Manage Club > Club Products, tap Edit next to the Promotion section, and toggle on Show on payment page and/or Promote to newsfeed. Tap Confirm to save.
What happens when a member taps a promoted ticket?
It depends on how many future events are linked. If one event is linked, the member goes straight to that event page. If multiple events are linked, the Select Events screen opens where they can pick individual events or select all at once.
Can members buy tickets for multiple events at once?
Yes. When a ticket is linked to multiple future events, the Select Events screen lets members tick as many events as they want and pay in a single checkout. Use the Select All toggle to grab every event in the series.
How do I link events to a ticket product?
Events are linked to ticket products through the event setup. When you create or edit an event, assign your ticket product to it. The system will prompt you to link events if you try to promote a ticket with no future events attached.
What if a promoted ticket has no events linked?
The system will prompt you to add events before the ticket can be promoted. You need at least one future event linked for the promotion to work. If all linked events are in the past, the ticket will not appear on the Payments page or Newsfeed.
Can parents buy tickets for their children?
Yes. The Select Events screen includes a Purchasing for section at the top. Tap Change to select a family member or dependent. Tickets are created under their name, and concession pricing applies automatically.
What happens when an event is sold out?
Sold-out events display a Sold Out badge and cannot be selected. Events with five or fewer spaces left show a warning with the exact number remaining, so members can act before tickets run out.
How does concession pricing work with bulk purchases?
If your ticket product has concession options, a Ticket type dropdown appears on the Select Events screen. Members choose their concession type and the price per event updates immediately. The running total reflects the correct rate for every selected event.
