Notifications

Teamo notifications ensure instant communication with your members, whether they’re online or offline. These notifications are sent via the app to keep everyone updated on team news, last-minute changes, and important reminders.

How to Send Notifications

On Mobile

  1. Go to Account (top-left corner) > Manage Club > Send Notifications.
  2. Select Notification.
  3. Choose recipients (teams/groups) and click Done.
  4. Add a message (e.g., "Don’t forget to pay your match fees").
  5. Specify whether the notification should appear on the player’s home screen.
  6. Optionally, add a link to a webpage or app screen (e.g., payments or group chat).
  7. Press Send Notifications.

On Desktop

  1. Navigate to Manage Club > Members Center.
  2. Select Custom Notifications from the right-hand menu.
  3. Use the search bar to find individuals or groups and tick the relevant recipients.
  4. Add your message (e.g., "Order your team kit on this webpage").
  5. Decide if the notification should appear on the player’s home screen.
  6. Optionally, include a link to a webpage or app section for instant access.
  7. Press Send Notifications.

Note: Notifications can only be sent to groups, teams, or sections on mobile, not individuals.

Customising Notifications Preferences

Notification Settings

You can customise what notifications you send and receive. Adjust these in:

  • Settings (via profile icon or Notifications tab).
  • Manage settings for each team you belong to or manage.

Types of notifications you can edit:

  • Event Notifications
  • Fixtures: Available, Unavailable.
  • Training: Going, Maybe, Not Going.
  • Social Events: Going, Maybe, Not Going.
  • Event Messages

How to Send a Notification - Mobile Phone

Why Am I Not Receiving Notifications on My Phone?

Check your phone settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Teamo.
  2. Ensure notifications are enabled.

Can I Turn Off Response Notifications?

Yes!

  • Go to Account > Settings > Events.
  • Select which availability responses you want to receive.

Can I Turn Off New Member Notifications?

Yes!

  • Go to Account > Manage Club > Edit Club Details.
  • Toggle New Member Alerts on or off.

Can I Reduce Non-Urgent Notifications?

Yes!

  • Navigate to Account > Settings > Reduce Notifications.
