Teamo helps clubs keep their membership lists updated and organized by enabling members to confirm their participation for the upcoming season. This ensures clarity on returning members while streamlining communication and management.

Know Who is Returning for the New Season

Season Opt-In Process:

  • At the start of the season, you can request members to confirm their participation for the upcoming season.
  • This keeps your membership list up-to-date and allows you to remove non-returning members.
  • Member opt-ins can be viewed in the Members Center and Payments Center.

Opt-In via the App:

  • Enable the Season Opt-In Required feature, prompting members to confirm their participation when they next open the app.

Opt-In via Email:

  • Members can also confirm their participation through an opt-in email.
  • This email includes a link that updates their status without requiring them to open the app.

How to Manage Season Opt-Ins

Create a New Season:

  1. Go to Manage Club > Manage Club Products.
  2. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Create New Season.

Enable Season Opt-Ins:

  1. Navigate to Manage Club > Edit Club Details > New Season Options.
  2. Turn on the Opt-In Required feature and select the applicable season.
  3. This feature can also be managed via the Members Center.

Email Members to Opt-In:

  1. Ensure the Opt-In Required feature is enabled in Edit Club Details.
  2. Go to the Members Center and select the tools icon.
  3. Choose Send Season Opt-In Email to notify all current members.

View Opt-In Status:

  • Access Manage Club > Members Center/Payments Center.
  • Members who have opted in will have a tick next to their assigned teams/groups.

Age Group Cut-Off

  • Adjust the cut-off date for grouping members under-18:
  • Use 1st September for school year groupings.
  • Use 1st January for calendar year groupings.
  • The cut-off date can be changed in Manage Club > Edit Club Details.

How to Set Up the Season Opt-In - Desktop

Can I ask members to opt-in via email instead of the app?

Yes! Members can confirm their participation through an opt-in email. The email contains a link that updates their participation status without them needing to open the app.

How do I create a new season in Teamo?

To create a new season:

  • Go to Manage Club > Manage Club Products.
  • Tap the menu in the top-right corner and select Create New Season.

How can I see who has opted in for the new season?

To view who has opted in:

  • Go to Manage Club > Members Center/Payments Center.
  • Members who have opted in will have a checkmark next to their assigned teams/groups.

Do I need to remove non-returning members manually after the opt-in process?

After the opt-in process, you can easily identify members who did not opt-in. These members can be removed or archived, ensuring your membership list is up to date.
