The Sponsorship Builder allows you to generate a professional draft sponsorship proposal that committee members can review and use to discuss the clubs sponsorship offerings during committee meetings!
Key Features:
To access the Sponsorship Builder you will need to be a club admin. To allow for the Sponsorship Builder to automatically pre-fill information about your club, please enter your club website URL by going to 'Manage Club" > 'edit club details' > and in the club website section, add your club's website information here!
On Desktop:
1) Select 'Start Wizard'
2) Create sponsorship proposal
3) Select whether you would like to pre-fill information from your website or fill this in manually
4) Review the details and click 'next' (you will be able to edit/add any of the information if you wish)
5) Confirm contact details, and select 'Generate Proposal'
You will then be presented with an example template based on the information you have provided. You are then able to edit this template to suit your club's needs e.g. pricing, package data etc.
Improve Proposal:
When you select 'Improve your Proposal', you are able to provide feedback and what you wish to change. Please complete the improvement form as needed, and then select 'Regenerate Proposal'
Once you are happy with the proposal, accept and continue!
You are then able to download the PDF or review the sponsorship proposal.
Discover businesses in your area that could become your club sponsors!
1) Click 'Find Local Sponsors'
2) Make sure the postcode of your club is correct
3) Select the mileage range and business type
4) Enter your entry-level price (your most affordable sponsorship option)
5) Select on 'Find Sponsors'
6) From the list you are able to deselect any local businesses you don't wish to contact
7) Select 'Generate'
Once this has successfully generated these emails, you can click 'view progress' and select 'export current progress' to download a CSV file to your computer.
Once this is generated, you are able to personalise your subject line, email signature and the closing line of your emails.
1) There is a drop-down of a range of different call to actions, from which you can select the option that suits your club the best
2) Scroll down and make sure you are happy with all of the information and the email signature
3) Select save and continue
You are able to preview the email and update as needed, and once completed, your first example email will then be generated!
If you have a Gmail account, you can download this free Mail Merge plugin. If you are using another email provider, you can find the equivalent extension for your email provider.
1) Open up the downloaded CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets
Tip - Name your spreadsheet first and save!
2) Click 'extensions' > select 'get add-ons' > search for Mail Merge in the search bar and enter.
3) Choose and download this Mail Merge extension as displayed here. We have found that this has a free quota to send up to 50 emails per day!
4) Once installed, select 'extensions' and scroll down to 'Mail Merge for Gmail', and select 'start'
5) To set up a new template, select 'new template' > select merge tag > from the drop down, select 'email body HTML'
6) Select 'merge tag' again, and from the drop-down box, select 'email subject'
7) Cut {{Email subject}} and paste into the email subject bar
8) Provide a template name of your choosing
9) Click save and close!
You will then be able to preview the email, and send yourself a test copy by selecting the dropdown box next to 'send emails'.
Once happy with the email, select send!
You will need to be a club admin to access the fundrasing section of the club.
Yes! Great news, this feature is included and free to use. All you need to do is create a club with Teamo and you can get started.
No, you can use any club website. You will just need to make sure that you have added your club website details in the 'edit club details' section within Teamo.
Yes! You are able to set the package details, names and prices to what best suits the club.
