Team Email

Tired of constantly updating your email lists?

Teamo allows you to email any team, group, section or the whole club using a unique email address. This removes the need to store and maintain email lists for the committee, 1st XI, coaches, and so on - teamo does it for you!

All emails sent using the team email address are branded with your team colours and logos to give your club a professional edge.

"I would like to contact the 1st team only about their upcoming game at the weekend."

Teamo assigns each team or group their own unique email address e.g. 1stxi.clubname@teamomail.com. All you need to do is simply enter the team email address into the Recipient (To) field from your email account and this will automatically send the email to all members in the team. You just need to ensure that you send the email from the same email account that you registered to teamo with.

After your email has been sent you will receive a copy of the email and email receipt, which includes a total number of recipients.

"Do I have to update the mailing list if a new member is added to a team or club section?"

Whenever a team is edited, group members are changed, or someone new is added to the club the team mailing lists are automatically updated. Therefore, there is no need to update mailing lists when new members join.

"Are members able to reply to an email sent using the team or club email address?"

Members can reply to the sender to respond to the email if they wish. This only starts a conversation with the sender, and not the whole team or group that the email was sent to.

"What if I want to add an attachment?"

You are able to add attachments to emails like you would a normal email. However, we only support attachments that are saved as a PDF file type. Please convert your document to a PDF before attaching it, otherwise the email will not send.

How to send a Team Email - Desktop

How do I send an email to an individual team or group?

On mobile - Head to the Club tab and select All Teams and select the team/group you wish to email. From here, if you select the Messaging tab, you can view the team/section/club email address and simply enter this into the "To" section of your email.

On web - Head to the Dashboard, select All Teams in the bottom right corner and select the team/group you wish to email. From here, select the Messaging tab, you can view the team/section/club email address and simply enter this into the "To" section of your email.

How do I send an email to a club section?

If you have set up club sections in your teamo structure, you may wish to email the entire Men's or junior section! Follow the same steps as above but instead select the Section rather than team. Only managers of the club section and club admins have the permission to send emails to whole club sections. These emails go to all members of the teams/ groups that come under this club section.

How do I send an email to the whole club?

Occasionally you will want to email all members of the club. As you may expect the club email address can be found in the same place as shown above and usually appears as club.clubname@teamomail.com. Only managers of the club group and club admins have the permission to send emails to all club members.

I have sent an email to the team email address but not received an email receipt?

Please check that you sent the email from the same email account that is linked to your teamo account.

Can I send to a whole section?

Yes, you can send to all teams under one section in one email. For example to send to the Men's section, type in the section email address (e.g. mens@teamo.teamoMail.com) and it will send to all members in all teams within that section.

Can I send to multiple teams?

If you wish to send to multiple teams but not a whole section, you are able to send to multiple team email addresses in one go.. For example, you can send to the Ladies 3s and Ladies 4s under one email. Simply enter both email addresses into the "To" section of your email.

Can members reply to emails?

Yes, members can reply to the sender to respond to the email if they wish. When you receive a response from a member it will show their initials and "1 t o 1" e.g. (GH 1to1). By selecting Reply and replying to the email that comes up e.g. updates+122345@teamoMail.com, the response will go to the member's email address (just make sure that you are sending it from your email that is linked to your teamo account).
