BHC Round Up 7th - 8th October 2023

Massive weekend at BHC - Saturday saw our league sides back in action. 

Our Ladies 1s lost their unbeaten start to season going down 4-0 to a clinical Worcester side by the girls were pleased with the clear improvements they had made.

Our Ladies 2s remain pointless losing 5-0 against Lichfield 3s. 

A Niki Lockley treble helped the Ladies 3s record a stunning 8-0 victory against Tamworth. A Freya Wiggin double alongside goals from Zanna Wade, Mia Anderson and Loz Horobin completed the victory. 

Our Ladies 4s also recorded an impressive 4-1 victory against WATS. 

In the Men's section it was a similar story as the first team lost their 100% record slipping to a narrow 2-1 defeat against Redditch despite Matty Boden scoring his 7th goal of the season. 

A Danny Steatham treble helped the 2s record an excellent 4-3 win away at Leek. The reliable Adam Baldwin with the other goal. 

Simon Lunn’s 3rd team made it two wins from two beating Tamworth 2-1 thanks to goals from Shabba Butti & Nathan Langley. 

The Men's 4s gave departing manager Kev Short a final game victory beating North Staffs 2-0 thanks to goals from Panashe and Dahwood. 

In the junior tanks the Badgers (pictured) beat the Beavers 3-2 but we had over 25 juniors all playing full pitch getting ready for years to come! 

Sunday brought our first junior festival of the year which we hosted at EACT. Over 200 kids all playing our great sport and enjoying themselves too.
