Kian Glasby has been awarded our first club Scholarship, at only 16 years of age he is already an integral member of our first team squad. Kian (pictured above right) not only gives his all on the hockey pitch, but he also gives up a lot of his time umpiring our games as he is now a badged umpire.
When not playing or umpiring Kian devotes the rest of his spare time assisting coaching our juniors across the club, he is truly inspirational and a key member of our hockey family.
Kian started his hockey journey aged 8 at West Brom as a Badger and progressed to Men's 3s and then on to Men's 1s, until last year when he joined Bloxwich. Since then he has gone on to play in county, U16s, Men’s 1s, U16s indoor and summer league. Kian also won U18s Player of the Year and Most Improved Umpire last year.
