The half term hockey break provided a fantastic opportunity to have an interclub development game. There was a fantastic turn out with representation from all ladies teams and with players aged from 8 to 60. It was lovely to see such positive team play from both sides with some great skill displayed by some of the clubs future stars.
It was a close fought game with both sides showing attacking and defensive teamwork. The deadlock was finally broken by a well worked goal for the white team, skilfully finished by Amelie Weaver.
There are too many players to be acknowledged in this short match report however huge congratulations go out to everyone who played today in what was a hard fought but thoroughly enjoyable interclub game. Well done to all!!!
Everyone was welcomed back to the club for pizza, cake and fun. Thank you to the umpires, captains and supporters for making today a great success.
