Men's 4s - 23/23 Season Review

Men's 4th XI – CAPTAIN – BOB FOSTER

Record after 19 games: W7 D3 L9 – F 34 A 44 

Points 21 Position: 6th

The Men’s 4s have had a very successful 23/34 season for many reasons – we have removed the development title from our side and we have managed to complete all our fixtures in Division 10 north west. 

They have gone to fixtures with 16 players all keen to play!

Over 40 players have appeared on the team sheet over the season, including 8 x 13 year olds Oli, Riley, Jack, Zac, Ivan, Hukam, Aman, Arjun, 3 x 14 year olds Max, Liam, Stanley, 3 x 15 year olds Wojciech, Samuel, Dawood, 2 x 17 year olds Panashe, Jo & 3 females Mia, Dani & Steph . We have also welcomed new players to the team Liam, George, Jake, Brian & Stanley - Tom Langley started the season in the 4s and has made massive strides in the 3s in the second half of the season.

Guided on the pitch by their experienced captain Bob Foster and helped on & off the pitch by coach Martin. A big thank you to the older players who have been also bolstering the team Tom, Callum, Pete & on an occasional basis Keenan, Andrew, Matt Salt, Andy Race, Minch, Rich B, Lee & Craig.

Hopefully after their last game they will have won 8 (3 conceded by oppo), drawn 3 & lost 9. 18 goals scored so far & lots of goals saved by GK Max. Top 4s goal scorer Wojciech 5, Bob 4, Liam 3, Jack, Hukam, Keenan, Samuel, Panashe, Dawood 1 each.

There is so much potential for the team to improve next year well done to all that have played ! Thank you to Kev and Ed for all their hard work at the beginning of the season, Thank you also for Minch doing all the GMS stuff, all the umpires, Simon for fab match reports, supporters and everyone who has helped out the 4s in any way.
