Under 16s are in School Year 10 and 11

The Under 16 boys train with our mens sides.

The Under 16s offer two pathway options:

For our best young male players, they will also have the opportunity to play of our men's sides on a Saturday.
For our highest performing players, they are nominated to County Level, and we have players at County level for Sussex or Hampshire, as well as in the South Coast Talent Academy. These players will also often play further up the Club in our Men's Performance Sides.

But we are keen that the Under 16 squad also offers a pathway for all capabilities.

So for players who are still learning about the game, this squad provides support, challenge and a significant opportunity for learning.

On Sundays, the Under 16s will compete in the lowest tier of South Central’s junior leagues as a pathway into hockey for new players at this age group and a way for young players not quite ready for Men's hockey to keep playing until they are.
