Eastbourne Hockey Club is playing some of the best hockey to the highest standards in East Sussex, with a modern clubhouse and a new sand-dressed, floodlit hockey pitch. The pitch and clubhouse are based in the Saffrons sports ground in the centre of Eastbourne, we are a friendly club with a great bar and offer the best post match catering in the county!
Eastbourne Hockey Club currently runs three different Hockey Sections, Mens (five teams), Ladies (five teams), and Juniors (five teams). Each section has its own team of dedicated coaching staff and coaching sessions take place almost every day of the week - see individual team pages for specific timings.
The Mens first team play in the South Hockey League Premier 2 East division and Mens 2s are in Kent / Sussex League 2, the Ladies first team play in the South League Division 1.

Are you looking for a bit of exercise, or an opportunity to test out those long dormant hockey skills and make new friends? We welcome new players of any age or ability and you are welcome to turn up to our weekly training sessions and join in at any point throughout the hockey season (September – March). Student Hockey
If you’re already playing hockey at Brighton or Sussex university and you’re itching to play your sport on Saturdays too, we offer special deals for students wanting to join our teams.
