Safeguarding
At Gateshead Hockey Club, we see safeguarding and welfare as our top priority. We look to maintain a safe environment for all players. We are currently updating our clubs safeguarding policy and we will add it to this page once it is completed.
We have two designated welfare officers, Jess Flanagan (jessiereynolds11@googlemail.com) and Lee Christie (lee_christie@hotmail.co.uk), whom you can contact if you have any safeguarding/welfare related questions.
Disciplinary Code
The conduct of all club members and spectators is extremely important and reflects on the reputation of the club. Positive play and support will positively increase our reputation. However, there are times on and off the field where our reputation may be adversely effected.
It is club policy that all yellow and red cards received by players or officials are reported to the committee by the club secretary, Michelle Beveridge (gatesheadhcsecretary@gmail.com).
Any other incidences that occur can be reported by any member at their discretion.
Captains are responsible for their players and team spectators.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
