Morpeth 3s ended their pre season with a solid 3-1 win against Tynedale.

Tynedale arrived with 10 players, so C. Green happily volunteered to wear the bandana of Tynedale. Maybe he should do this more often, as it was said that this was his strongest performance.

Despite a plethora of Morpeth chances, it was Tynedale who took the lead. They played a long ball over the defence which was then slotted into the back of the net.

As the sun continued to beat down on Gal’s bald head, Morpeth changed their formation to play with a back 4. This proved to be the catalyst for goals.

Gal lead by example, scoring two well taken goals one of which was a drag flick from a short corner. A. Laude also scored an impressive goal to ensure Morpeth came away with the 3 points.
