MND Charity Melee
The weather didn't dampen our spirits this morning and with the bunting flying 19, players and guest members cheered on the 'All Roads Lead to Rome' cyclists on their route through Wallingford Sports Centre to raise awareness and funds for MND research. After battling through the snow in the Cotswolds dressed in their tartan the first cyclist was cheered on by the clank off our boules arriving at 11:30am, followed shortly after by the main peloton.
The event was a great success and thanks to all of you who donated, we raised £150 for the MND Charity, which will be enhanced by gift aid.
We wish the riders good luck with their journey on route to Rome.
