Did you know that as a club we have to fill between 8 and 12 umpiring slots every weekend - this relies completely on the good will of a small number of current & ex-players, who give up their time to facilitate the days matches & tournaments!
To make this easier, we are always looking to bolster the number of qualified umpires in the club. Stroud HC will gladly pay the cost Umpiring Courses of anyone who is willing to get involved, all we ask is that you make yourself available a few times a season to help umpire!
The Level 1 course is online, only takes 2 hours, and covers all the basics required to effectively manage a game as an official - so why not give it a go, improve your knowledge of the game and help out the club at the same time!
