Thanks for your message!
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Following the passing of the Queen and the historic moments we have witnessed as a nation over the weekend with the ascension ceremony and our new King, King Charles III, we wanted to share with you an update on the Club and what this means for the immediate future.
As you will be aware, on Friday we immediately suspended all of our Club activity over the weekend in order to commemorate our Queen. That suspension has now ended and our teams will return to training from tonight.
With the State Funeral date having been confirmed as Monday 19th September, and the announcement that this will be a bank holiday. As a Club, we have taken the decision (irrespective of whether The FA decide to issue their own suspension) that the Club will not carry out any football activity on Monday 19th September, this includes training and friendlies.
This gives time for our members to witness the state funeral, which is a tragic, historic moment for our nation. We are working with our training venues to reach an agreement on potential contract adjustments in relation to these exceptional circumstances.
We wait to hear from The FA, and our leagues in the hope that fixtures this weekend will be unaffected. Information about any changes to this will be issued to managers as soon as we hear.
As always, if any of our members need support, please do reach out to one of our managers or Executive Committee and we will offer that support where possible or point you in the right direction.
For many, this weekend will be your first fixtures and we would wish you the very best for your matches. As always, work hard, maintain respect and try your best - the result isn't everything, attitude is everything.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
