The 1894 Campaign

Securing the success and long-term future of Hampstead and Westminster Hockey Club

Established in 1894 and based at Paddington Recreation Ground in Maida Vale, Hampstead and Westminster Hockey Club is London’s most centrally located hockey club.

We are an England Hockey ClubMark, Talent Centre and Talent Academy accredited club with over 1,000 members and provide junior, adult and masters hockey for all abilities and backgrounds.

Unlike almost all of our England Hockey League and London Hockey League competitors, we do not own any real assets, hockey pitches and/or a club house.

Prior to launching the 1894 Campaign in 2022-23, the shortfall was funded by a very small number of extremely generous donors. The 1894 Campaign seeks to bridge the funding gap by securing sponsors, partnerships, charitable donations, matched giving, fund raising, raffles and auctions and holding an annual fundraising dinner.
