Hampstead & Westminster claimed a commanding 5-0 win over Sutton on Saturday, delivering a clinical performance from start to finish. Madi Ratcliffe opened the scoring with a slick finish, quickly followed by a strike from Lucy Hyams, before Tyler Lench rounded off a dominant first half with Hampstead’s third goal.
In the second half, Hampstead kept the pressure on, and their persistence paid off with two well-executed penalty corner goals. Ratcliffe added her second of the game, and Joie Leigh wrapped up the scoring to complete a perfect day for Hampstead.
With sharp, organised play and a rock-solid defence, Hampstead controlled the game and showed their strength at both ends of the pitch, leaving Sutton with few opportunities to respond.
