Feature Focus: league tables on your club website

Your league tables now appear on your club website: on the homepage and on your match pages.

For fixture secretaries and club webmasters, the league table is now part of the club website. Tables come from Play-Cricket, England Hockey, England Rugby and FA Full-Time. You choose which ones appear on the homepage, and each match page shows the league table with the scorecard. Behind the tables, fixtures now import with the right time, home or away and kit. For league secretaries, there’s something new as well: league pages, now in pilot.

🏆 What it is

League tables are part of your Teamo club website, taken from the competitions your teams play in. They appear in three places:

  • The club homepage. A league-table strip where you choose which tables appear and how many.
  • Your website. There’s one league table per competition.
  • An event’s page. The team image, the scorecard and the league table, with the match details last.

🎨 How it looks on your website

The league-table strip takes on your site’s own look, so it sits naturally on a modern club homepage. Here it is on our Demo Club, then on three clubs’ own new-look sites, each in its own colours.

Our Demo Club on a phone: the strip in the club’s navy, with a link to the full table and fixtures.

A hockey club in red, with a tab for each of its five teams and its own row picked out.

Another club picks its table from a drop-down, in navy.

A third club, in a darker look. Its Men’s 3s play in two competitions, so they get a table for each.

👥 Who it’s for

  • Fixture secretaries: whoever brings the fixtures in and keeps them right.
  • Club webmasters: whoever decides what the club website shows.
  • League secretaries: anyone running a league, through the league pages pilot below.

🛠️ How to show your league tables

1. Bring your fixtures in

Import your fixtures from a spreadsheet or bring them in from Play-Cricket, England Hockey (GMS), England Rugby or the FA. Rugby clubs can import England Rugby fixtures and results along with their league tables. New to importing? See Import Fixtures in the Help Centre.

Choose where your fixtures come from: the FA, Play-Cricket, England Hockey, England Rugby or a spreadsheet.

2. Link your competition

For England Hockey, the competition’s link is all a table needs. You no longer have to type in a separate id by hand. See Import Fixtures from England Hockey.

3. Choose what goes on your homepage

Use the league-table strip to choose which tables appear on the club homepage, and how many.

4. Check a match page

Open one of your events. The team image, scorecard and league table are there, with the match details last.

🧪 For league secretaries: league pages (pilot)

League pages are in pilot. A league secretary can publish a league page with standings, fixtures, documents, rulings, previous winners and club kits.

  • Start from a spreadsheet, or without one. Turn your fixtures workbook into a league page, or build one without a spreadsheet.
  • Paste from Excel on desktop. The desktop grid takes a paste straight from Excel.
  • Enter results from the pitch. On a phone, there’s a screen for entering results.
  • Walkovers, in the words leagues use. An awarded result is now a home or away walkover rather than a single “Awarded”.
  • Your notes stay private unless the league chooses to show them.
  • Share cards and what3words on league pages and venue pages.

There’s a step-by-step guide under Resources. If you run a league and would like to know more about the pilot, get in touch with the team in-app.

The league pages guide sits under Resources on the Website screen.

✅ What’s changed

On your website

  • League tables on club websites from Play-Cricket, England Hockey, England Rugby and FA Full-Time, with a homepage strip where you choose which tables appear and how many.
  • England Rugby (RFU / GMS) fixtures and results import, with league tables.
  • One league table per competition on your website.
  • Match content is back on event pages: team image, scorecard and league table, with the match details last. The results badge fits, and the league table reads as a table.
  • England Hockey tables need only their link.

In your fixtures

  • Kick-off times in the right time zone. Times are read in your import’s time zone.
  • Home and away, right first time. Away fixtures come in as Away even when the home and away markers are split across two columns. A fixture with no home or away set is no longer marked Home.
  • More headers recognised. Tip off, Competition, Location and Team columns are picked up automatically.
  • Kit in the import, and kit that stays. Map a spreadsheet column straight to Kit. Kit is now kept on bulk import, when you duplicate an event, and when you create fixtures across several dates.
  • No more midnight kick-offs. When GMS hasn’t set a pushed-back start time yet, the fixture reads TBC, both in the preview and in what’s saved.
  • Start times fill in once they’re set. A fixture synced from GMS, Play-Cricket or the FA while its start time was TBC now picks up the time once the league sets it.

A spreadsheet’s Kit column mapped straight to Kit, with Home/Away and Tip off picked up for you.
